Hi everyone.I am going to create a 4 lane drag strip for sled racing both on grass and flooded ice.I have 25 acres of flat
cleared land that I am trying to have ready for 1st-mid July.I have only been racing for 2 yrs but love it.My friends Dyno Ray
and Perry Power interduced me to the sport and I can't get enough of it!I am also driven by another reason to do this and
that is my son has a rare form of cancer. We take him to the sick kids hospital about every 4-5 weeks for surgery.I want to
raise money for his on going battle but also want to give back to the racers as well!My idea is to split all money taken in each
race day and 50% of the money will go back to racers as well as trophies.I have about 2000' of race track and very wide.It
will have test track and 4 race lanes. We will have canteen and toilets.I am hoping to have races every 3-4 weeks if people
will come.In the winter every 2-3 weeks if the people will come and weather permitting. We will have the same classes as
sutherlands ice races and tech tent as well.I don't know if sledders are interested in this or not but I wouldlike any feedback.
I will be getting race insurance. We will only have a yellow light then go on green to start. If there is lots of interest then we
will up grade to light tree.I would like any interested racers to reply and tell me whats on your mind.
