QUOTE (captain @ Feb 9 2010, 12:08 PM) So smart she had to write a "crib sheet" on her hand to remember talking points? The funny part was she just finished slamming Obama for his "smooth talking and teleprompter", but then she was visibly looking at her hand to figure out what to say.
I dont think she is widely respected from either party. I think she is popular because she is attractive and brash, but if you listen to her for long enough you realize she really isnt that smart.
Dont take this the wrong way, I am not endorsing who is in office or that political party. I for one am getting sick of these "Smart" "smooth talkers", all they do is blow smoke up your ass then the day they are sworn in they stick a knife right in your back. Hell I would vote for damn near any hard working redneck over any of the clowns we got now, I don't know why others believe the shit they spew!

Like I said, I do not support Obama or his administration, but personally I think there are plenty more qualified candidates for President than Palin. She doesnt even know if Africa is a country or continent for cripes sakes. You want someone like that in office? This is coming from a guy who's state elected a former wrestler as governor, trust me, you dont want a neanderthal in office. I too am sick of all the rhetoric and BS these life long politicians spew. Cant we have someone how is educated and not a bullshitter?

Just like any job, we want the best person for the job. Oboma is already proving to be a huge failure after one year. Pallin could do no worse than he's done. We are a long way from the next election and she may never run. I want a honest (yeah right) representative that will do what's right for our country first and not trying to get reelected or set him or her self up after politics with back door deals for government contracts to their financial supporters.
Look at state by state corruption, we in Ny have it the worst. They all expect us to do with less but they do not, its always more more more, and oh yaa lets raise taxes on everything. I live not far from ny city and I own a 1/3 of a acre on a 2700 sq ft house. I pay 26 k in taxes every year and we are one of cheaper ones in the neighborhood. We can not take it any more we have to sell just because of the taxes, and thats not paying any other bills. Ny state has no jobs upstate at all, and etleast nothing coming in, and around nyc everything has dried up too, why can't these stupid politicians get it.

I live on 120 feet of prime water front in a 2k square foot house and only pay 2600 a year in property taxes.

QUOTE (ProX700man @ Feb 9 2010, 11:01 AM) Alaska did great when she was Gov.... I spent last summer up there, everyone loved her and praised her like god. I'd vote for her. She'd be a good revamp of the corrupt I think she has more to her than what meets the eye. But I think she should have finished the job she started. Mrs red

Of course they're happy, and they were long before her being governor, or was she the Mayor of Alaska?
