ok i've never had this happen before but all of a sudden this year when I start from a cold start and let my fusion idle to warm it up to 100 and I crack the throttle a little bit to get the track moving it'll go into a fouling mode where it's a low rough idle even sounds like it's going to conk out and then after 10-15 secs or so it's fine. also the track spins really fast while it's doing this. sometimes I'll touch the throttle a bit to get it to stop other times it'll do it on it' own. it rides fine after that.

When you push down the throttle if you look in the throttle housing on the handlebars , you will see a little black plunger switch that the throttle contacts when you let off the gas .

Sounds like an air leak. Check your throttle body boots between the throttle bodies and the reed cages which are known to crack as they are under the exhaust manifold.

It almost looks like a little black button. If that's it then it didn't look like it.

sounds like your problem is the throttle its either the switch of the cable gettin fanucked thats funny how its idles low but engages the belt take a mirror check the throttle cable around the throttle bodies and also take a look at the oiler while your down there make sure it returns and oil cable is not frayed or anything also take a look into your clutch it should not engage if your sayin it idles really low so you may have your problem in the primary kinda wierd keep us posted

I have that exact thing going on right now so thats what made me think of it. I was looking at pullers today to fix mine. They are way too expensive!

When my sled was new the primary clutch bushing was sticking , you dont need to pull the clutch off to fix it , you can just take the outer plate off .

ok what does it look like in case I check it? I don't clutch. I usually just let the dealer do that.

you took your primary cover and spring off right?? I just got my cover off. How do go about and put the frig back on without having to pull it? I can't get the bolts back on.
