Default Gates belts, how do they hold up?

Tried gates once on my old crossfire1000, was not happy with the results and belts that didnt fit properly(too skinny). How are they on the axys 800s? I get a deep discount through napa, and they have a lifetime warranty through them on all gates belts. No brainer is they work, when worn out or failed return it for a replacement.

I run them on both my INDY 800s. One INDY is a racer only so it's beat on and both belts still looking great.
My spare for my Assault is a Gates!

I ran the Gates belt half of last season, and for 600 miles this season before my clutch grenaded (had an electric start issue) and took out the belt. The Gates belt worked well, and I'll be ordering another one for my 2018 Assault.

Great, as long as you get the G force carbon. The regular belt grenade on me in less than 300 miles.

Put on 1200 on my stock Polaris. Gates is next up. Bought it as my back up Going on this summer. The old Polaris will be my back up.

Finished up the season just shy of 3000 miles on the original stock belt, looks mint.

I have 4500 miles on the stock belt. I bought a Gates for a spare when the sled was new because I didn't want to pay $245 for a Polaris belt. So I've never used the Gates. I recently bought another Polaris belt. I figure if I can get 4500 miles on one they must be good. And the price has come down a bit.

The stock 1177 isn't the best for all out performance but it's pretty damn durable.
