Running it now. I have about 100 miles on it. I will check clearance tomorrow but I broke it in and have ran about 20 drag races this weekend and not a bit of slipping.

Only got 100 miles on a new one after a clutch rebuild on my Turbo Switchback. Not much of a test yet, but so far, so good. Have heard good reports from several.

 

I have 1800 mi. On my original 3211122 belt it's wearing perfect. For the $125 I'll stick with the stock belt. If u keep your clutches cleaned and aligned they should last along time. Also break them in according to the manufacturer.

 

I think everyone in this topic is aware of what to do as you listed. But the OP was referring to an 1115 replacement belt for the 800s. And at $185 vs $125 for me in Canada. I will stick with the Gates belt from now on. :bc:

Last I checked there was only a direct replacement for the 115. I ran one on my Pro R 8 for 2000 miles last year, great belt.

 

Replacement for the 1115 belt is Gates 44C4553-Carbon Fiber (Polaris is not cf) The 1115s aropund here are $180-$200+ depending on dealer. Gates $125.

 

I've been selling Gates for $102.50.

 

Where are you Canadians buying the gates belts for $125?? Not having any luck, Ottawa area....

Harder compound for the 1115. And all the 800s from 2009 to current have come with the 1115 belt.
Not sure why it would say that in the service manual.

Well we are in the INDY forum which is model Year 2014-2016 for the 800s. Did you really think I was referring to an XCR 800?
And yes I said ALL 800s from 2009-2015...which they are all CFIs. I didn't state the AXYS, Damn!

You just listed the AXYS sleds which I already said 3 times don't use the 1115.
