If you ask me its totally worth the money. But I do alot of off trail riding and use it to find the trail again and where to connect back up. Removes alot of the guess work on where you might come out of if you will ever find the trail again. depends on if you know your riding area well or do more exploring. If you explore a ton its a must have.
