Default TD at Dynotech

From Ben at TD

All these numbers are with the TD TurboForce Super Quiet muffler and TD turbo outlet and stock intercooler. Everything else is bone stock.

304 HP on 91 octane 5 second pull (tested at 7% ethanol if you are curious)

That is the OFFICIAL RECORD

That is maximum power, the highest boost we could go without getting any knock and no clicks from Jim's detonation ear phone. This is the same map is Max91/94 running max boost with a small shim of the turbocharger.

273HP with Max91/93 running at normal boost level (available to the public)

256HP Powertrail 91

221HP Ecotrail

200HP with the stock ECU with only mods being TurboForce Super Quiet and TD turbo outlet.

More details to come tonight.

It is available (it's the max91 map with extra boost)
but I don't recommended it. I can tell you how to get it done.
But To be safe you would run minimum 93 octane and a little race fuel maybe a gallon or two to be sure you won't get any knock.

We were on the edge of detonation. On 93 it made 301HP...lost a few HP.
Our 91 ended up being slightly superior to the 93. But that is most likely because when you buy gas at the pump it is minimum 91, we most likely had more like 93 in it from the looks of it.

Still this goes to show how much room our programs leave on pump gas. At 273HP the max91 map at regular boost looks conservative LOL !

Maybe dealers or TD themselves could post up their clutching recommendations as they start getting some testing in with the ECU reflash?

From Ben at TD

Ok. So you guys want to know what HP level can be selected to hold for a very long time (mile).
That will depend on many factors, including clutching RPM, fuel quality, actual boost level and fuel pump condition etc...
Yes we have tested extensively long throttle pulls.

Powertrail is the highest safe setting for long pulls. Most people can hold it for very long time. The ones who cannot hold it as long are typically overboosters (machines who run more boost than the average).
That said overbooster machines make more power than 256HP on Powertrail and therefore can run the Performance 91 program to make the same power as powertrail and hold it for long periods of time also.
This is why we offer many programming starting from Ecotrail (14psi) to Performance 91 (16psi) to powertrail (18psi) to Max91 (20.5 psi) to race (22psi-30psi).

So to be conservative for long throttle pulls (more than 5000 feet) 256HP is the highest recommended setting for pure 91 octane fuel. The knock light will warn if you are exceeding max power level.

What about HP for the TD Performance 91 map????

And is it safe to run the muffler and outlet without ECU mods?

Cannot answer the first qustion but the second it is planty safe as that is the combo I am running and you still have warranty and 200 hp! Only issue may be running rpm closer to the rev limiter. If so a set of weights or a good clutch kit will help. Won't know that unitl we hit the lake later.
