I wondered if I needed to get after the thing with a mallet? If it develops a problem it's too late.

I thought the OEM o ring wasnt big enough and the fix was a larger size o ring....i thought i read a guy getting a slightly larger size at the hardware store but i could have been mistaken

If the OEM o-ring is there, then as long as its not filled to high up the neck it shouldnt leak. lots of people like to fill them to the top. In that case a thicker o-ring would seal better. the o-ring it comes with is the same one used on some AC gas caps. |
