Arrow Hey, what about us 2013 800 electric starter issues?

AC has to know about this and heard about it!

As we all know that every 2013 800's that came with electric starter has failed. Did they mention anything at the show? Deeper groove on the shaft or other solution?

I would like to use my electric starter again. It was so nice when it worked!

EF,

Yes, I know that but I was just talking about the 2013 800 that came with ES. The only problem was that the groove on the shaft wasn't deep enough for the snap ring to stay on. I was just wondering if they made the groove deeper or just stronger snap ring. If I let the dealer put new starter on and it will just happen again, just matter of time for the snap ring to fall out.
