Default clutch kits after a season of riding?

Ok whats the verdict on clutch kits after a season of use?? I have a 2012 F8 snopro I want to clutch it over the summer, looking for the best kit to buy. I see D&D, Speedwerx, Sledwerx, etc?? I had an ODS kit in my F7 with great results. Lets hear what you have!

Also did anyone add a Y pipe? Is a boondocker really needed and are there any gains from it?

And lastly, what is a good aftermarket can to replace the stock muffler. I do NOT want louder than stock, law enforcement in NY is really hammering on it this season. Im looking for quiet, add a couple HP but maily save 30 pounds over the stock muffler and cool down temps under the hood.

I have the same items on my shopping list (clutching improvements & QUIET can), except for an 1100na.

I heard the Speedwerx muffler at Haydays,Jeremy started it for us and sounded very nice and a little throaty.

I beleave your HPS can is steel, the reason I say that is if you look at the weld around the neck its from a wirefeed and second the spring tabs welded to the top of the can would never last if the where aluminum.

Problem with law enforcement in NY is that most will write tickets just because it isn't stock. Not that it is right, but that's what normally happens. Been beaten to death in the NY section. So as such, even with a can being "quiet" and having no increase in exhaust level over stock, you are risking getting the ticket.

I am running the D/D can (F800) fit nice, sounds nice, saved weight BUT the top completely broke apart by 600 miles (metal cracked along outside of the inlet tube weld) and the bottom weld was cracked 1/2 way around, there is no warranty either, I welded it back together and it looks like a piece of shit now. I have seen mention of others having this problem, fwiw, Smitty

I'm keeping the stock can. Already clutched mine. No clutch kits for me. Just threw more weight in it with more helix. Works great. Stock manners, big pull all the way through.
