Default Primary Clutch

Spent 5 days up in Northern Maine last week and at the begining of the trip i was turning 8270rpms (yes a little high). By the last day there i was barley seeing 7800-7850. Would have a hesitation when whacking the throttle at around 40-50. almost like the powervales where acting up. Took it to the dealers this past friday and found out that 2 of the rollers in Primary were toast and stuck! Sled had 2500 miles

I guess you cant rebuild em so they took a brand new primary off a 12' xf8 they had on the showroom floor and slapped it in mine (which is fine by me)

Just throwing it out there for people to look for

Hats off to Northeast Motorsports in Lebanon, ME. Josh and gang has treated me right. Have never waited for parts or service, in and out the same day.

Get the clutch to close and spin the rollers with your fingers (caution!). I had one seize and stick the primary closed on-trail.
