Did it fix the hyfax issues?

I hope you're right but a dealer told me otherwise. Very costly to replace a tunnel, even just the tail. Lots of them will have to be painted. For 2012s we're likely gonna just see a stiffener(so our kinking stops) and maybe an aluminum plate to contact the heat exchanger. Looked at mine again and I think you can lose the spacers on the bolts(at the back) without breaking or putting much stress on the exchanger. I still hope you're right tho.

if tunnel is kinked and A/C is not fixing it why not turn into insurance? thats why we pay it.... then its nothing out of your pocket but the deductible?

Then it kinks again next year... turn it in again? Get on the bandwagon here... this is a SAFETY issue, the ice could become dislodged at high speeds and cause the "driver" to loose control and crash.

How? Not going to happen at high speeds. The track will destroy any ice that lets go in miliseconds.
