due to the no snow I have had ample time to play in the garage with my 06 dragon. I powdered the a-arms and spindles and tinted the tail light with vht nightshades I thought it turned out awesome, I also took the Fusion lettering off the hood to put my registration in its place, I had it on the lower panel before but it kept getting ripped off of it., can't wait for the snow

I ordered it from amazon its called vht nightshades, they make it in the black tint and red tint, I used 1000 grit sand paper and then denatured alcohol to clean it then sprayed 3 light coats of the nightshades and then about 6 coats of clear coat, then took 2000 grit sandpaper to it and then buffed it out with buffing compound to get it to shine like factory, It looks way better in person than the pics show, I would recommend it to anyone who didn't like the euro style lights that came on these sleds, I wanted to do the headlights really bad but I do enjoy night riding so I left em stock. If you end up doing your headlights I want to see pics of it when you're done.

I like the look, but I'd be leary of that taillight/brake light not being very visible on a sunny day

its still super bright even in direct sunlight the second picture is just with a flash to show it still reflects, when the lights are on it is much brighter, its hard to tell its tinted when the lights are on.

if your expecing that you wont like it and might want to take it off, this stuff does not come off. I have tried. I blacked out the tail lights on my truck and they cracked all to hell, so i tried taking it off. the black comes off, but then there is a shitty layer of impenetrable whatever it may be. Point, I couldn't remove it.

I powdercoated my a-arms black as well. Like it much better than the stock silver. Also, located my MN registration back behind the bump on the top of the hood on the left and right sides of the windshield. Never had an issue with the authorities and it's basically invisible.

yeah black is what these a-arms and spindles should have been from the factory not the generic dull silver they came with. I was thinking of putting my reg. where you did but up here in Walker the DNR are A-holes that like to nit pick technicalities so I figured I better keep them visible, then I tinted my tail light LOL... oh well I'll see if they hassle me about that. When the lights are on you cannot tell it's tinted so, so I know I won't get pulled over for that, but if they pull me over for something else and I shut the sled off they might get crazy about it.
