I put the updated one on mine. Nice to have warm hands now.
However, now, when I bring the engine speed above idle, the brake indicator flickers and the high beam indicator glows. No idea what the deal is with that but I'm just going to ride it for now.
Pull the 2 plugs apart that go to the dash, they are in the R/F corner of the engine bay. Clean them and use dielectric grease on them, it always worked on mine.
This is actually the stock converter used on 2008 RMK 600 144.
Not real hard to wire. Will have to cut plugs off your stock shot converter as well as the updated converter, then wire. If you need help, PM me. Wired 3 of them up now. Wasn't going to pay Polaris an additional $150 for a 30" wiring harness(not sold separately)...especially when there should have been a recall on the piece of sh*t stock converter.
