Guys got an 06 fusion 900 for sale. 4,000 miles for $2500. He says all the updates have been done by a polaris dealer. I know nothing about fusions but have heard horror stories. Is this a good buy? What questions should I be asking?
It's a good price, if I were looking for a sled, I would be all over this.
For the most part, the motor will last until about 5,000 miles and then it becomes a time bomb. You never know how long it will last. I have an '05 Fusion that had crankshaft failure twice, once at 5,800 miles, second one at 6,200 miles. That being said I know 2 people with '05 900 that have both lasted 7,500 miles and are still running fine!
The thing that I would check on this sled is the primary clutch since it costs $520 new. Make sure it is in good condition. Otherwise, it will be a very good sled!
