Default 1997 xc 600 wont start

So I have a 1997 600 triple and it used to always start great. I rode it one day at my friends house last week and parked it in his garage. Well I went to go pick it up a couple days ago and now it wont run. I took out the bottom end drain bolts and gas came out of each hole. I put new plugs in and tried like 30 different things and it wouldn't even run on ether. Its got good spark and compression still. What else could it be?

Needles and seats in carbs letting fuel by and flooding the engine. Common issue with them. When's the last time you cleaned the carbs?

had the same issue on my 97 XLT. I made it a habit to always shut off the gas when parking. And if it flooded out, shut off the gas and pull like crazy with throttle WFO usually managed to fire it up again

New needle/seats and it was just fine afterwards

If replacing inlet valve (needle/seat) do so with viton tip needles
