Anyone have thoughts on Castrol 2t oil? - HCS Snowmobile Forums

Default Anyone have thoughts on Castrol 2t oil?

A local spot is selling it ofr 3.49 a qt. I have no experience with it, any insight?

I seen 109MPH on my Cat turbo last year with more on tap........that is fricken insane speeds, in fact pieces flew off my sled. LOL. Maybe the new ones got backed off 5MPH to keep the sled together!!

I have been running it for 3 years now. Not one issue. My valves are no more or less dirty than they are with any other oil I have tried. They still need to be cleaned once a year at the start of the season.

Put it to you this way, indydan from indy specialties recommends not using the Polaris Gold and says to use the cheap castrol stuff instead, thats all that needs to be said.

I blew my sled up twice both times I was on amsoil intercepter. Not saying it was the oil first time I overrevved too many times and broke a piston skirt. Second time I definitely had the worst gas I've ever put in anything in there. That ended very badly indeed. I am a die hard amsoil lover from way way back. I've never had a problem on ves gold. Plus it smells good for everyone that's behind you so... everybody. Spendy though. In fact I have intercepter in there now cuz that's what they had. So I must be stupid huh... Lol. Yes not cuz of that though.
