2012 nytro vs 2013

Looking at buying a new nytro on the 2013 they came with the new tuner skis and the front shock are different will I see much difference between the front shock between the 12 and 13 and the tuner ski as good as they say that are or would you by a 12 for the front shock and put the tuner ski on

their is no way the new shocks are as good as the older GYT clicker shocks. I think yamaha was just trying to save a buck. It's sad to because they make the 2013 XTX in sweden with ohlin shocks all the way around and call it a TTX. Search for it, looks like one bad sled. To bad we can't get that here. I'd swap the shocks if you want the 1.75" XTX or buy the 12. Keep in mind that it's a pretty good bet yamaha will have a new line up for 2014

I went with the 2012 and put the tuner skis on it. If I'm not mistaken, the 2013 has a 1 ply track on it vs 2 ply for the 2012. I paid less for a leftover 2012, studded, clutching, tuner skis and taxes in than I would have paid for the 2013.

I bought a 13, I liked the black and charcoal color scheme for 13. 13 has the tuner skiis, ripsaw 2, and new dual controls for hand/thumb warmers.

At the time I bought the price difference between a 12 and 13 wasn't enough to justify not going with the current model year.
