I tried the aluminum insert and still leaks on my 08. Will ask my dealer if they will take care of a new tank.

Call your dealer. Mine leaked last year. Used an O ring until the end of riding, then I had a new tank installed under warranty.

2901 mile this year and no problems.

mine always leaked a little, this past ride i lost a quart in 35 miles, the cap is not the problem it is the neck of the bottle becomes oblong and wont seal, my dealer wont fix and the sled warranty ran out about a month ago.

before you do anything, just "snug" the cap and don't overtighten. I noticed my 08 TNT was leaking early in the season and remember reading posts over on doo talk where people stated if you snug the cap and don't overtighen, it work fine. Have had no issues since. I'm thinking maybe if you crank down on it too much, you deform the opening and cause it to leak. I've also heard the plastic inserts (delrin) works fine.
