Both seem to be mean machines...but in a lake run what would the outcome be? I feel as though the sRX will take it but really wh? Each machine is stock exept the cats got a power breather besides that is as if they both just came off the assembly line.

Depending on which year ZRT 800 you have, you will have anywhere from 149 to 156 ruffly for hp. The yamahooo SRX is ruffly 141ish for ponies. You are heavier but if you work out the math for power to weight ratio, you should walk on him hard. The SRX was A FAST SLED. About the fastest sled the blues in blue evermade. Shoudn't even be a contest man.!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, that power breather will provide you about 3-9 more ponies. Eat em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry but i got to chime in here, i'm a die hard cat man, never owned a yamaha, but i'm telling you straight up, stock for stock, the yami will eat your ass! Sorry buddy, just the facts. I got buddies that have yamahas and they run much beter stock for stock, now do some clutching, gut your air box, get your jetting where it should be, and it will be a different story.
