Default

A friend of mine bought a leftover f8 and the sled wont go over 80 whats with that? the sled has no power. feels like a old zr580 power wise. what would cause this?

check and make sure there isn't a 500 in there.

see if his exhaust valves are functioning. max RPM should be 7600-7800

I think the rpm should be around 8000.The 1000s were lower.

welcome to the f8 party. that is the way they r stock. clutching is a must .lots of help here do a search u will find more info the u can digest. good luck

2008 and we were on a lake with good hardpack. If this sled wont go over 80 stock than there's a big problem. Glad I dont ride AC.

My sled has no problem going over 80 it will top out at 96 and still smoke many sleds in 500ft. yes f8s xp800s and other 600s. If you dont believe my just race one. I sold my 05 mxzx 800 because the rush is such a bada$$ sled. Dont know where you ride but ill be in vt this weekend and tughill next weekend. PM me if you wanna get smoked or see how the back of my sled looks.
