Default windows XP startup question

What can we turn off to speed this up? Home addition I'd guess. I asked on here when I setup my laptop with vista and got some good advice! Wifes desktop needs help. Thanks

BlackViper.com has a list of XP services along with what they suggest you do. Use it at your own risk, but its probably the best services list to be found on the internet...

Pretty much that.

Also, go to start, run and type in msconfig. Then go to the startup tab and uncheck all the things like realplayer and java and shit that you don't need to start up. Consult google for what you do and don't need.
