my idle is under 1000rpm so i have to keep giving it gas to make it idle higher. where is the idle screw on these carbs?

On the left had side of the carbs as you sit on the sled. Its in the middle of each carb between the carb boots in the airbox and the carb adaptors on the engine.

the little screw on the left side i turn in to get a higher rpm?

Turn in for higher idle, out for lower. The screw is pointing upwards for clarification, make sure you turn em the same amount of revolutions. Is this your first sled since the citation?

haha no, this is not my first sled. iv had a 1988 yamaha phazer,1997 yamaha venture 600, 2002 mxz 700, 2003 rev 440 and now the iq 440 which im racing this year. the citation is just a side project i bought for $100 dollars aha
