As far as the backfiring goes, do you let the sled idle down before you turn it off or do you pretty much hit the kill switch as soon as you stop? What happens if you sit there for a bit .... say, 20 secs or so .... and then turn it off?

They all doo it, if you don't let the idle come down before you hit the kill switch. I've had a 600 & 800 revs, & an 800r xp, they all do it if you hit the kill switch right away.
