Okay, dammit. I've been circling whitecap all winter trying to find the trail up (okay, twice, but still). Any hints for a fellow Mainer? Just give me which side of the mountain it's on... North or south...

Are you ready for dirrections lol.. (you unload at the K.I. gate, go across the little bridge and head down the trail, up a way the trail splits into two, take the left way, about 4 miles up that way it turns right, and you follow that trail and brings you up white cap lol... (pm me if you want my cell number and next time your up this way ill show you)

great shot of Bpond in the background there, by the way...

I just noticed you're from Milo. I graduated from Penquis in 88. Makes me an old guy next to you. I first climbed whitecap on an 85 SS440, but it was a loooong time ago--back when B-Pond was a real adventure away by sled. Shoot, now we go out from Ebeemee to Whitecap and back for a quick burn at night to work off our supper.
