Are you kidding me? ![]() Democratic National Committee spokesman Brad Woodhouse believes Mitt Romney will undoubtedly win the first debate, covering Domestic policy, this Wednesday night from 9 – 10:30pm EST. What’s funny depressing is that while the president has supposedly not had time to debate or practice debating, one assumes that he is up to date on, ya know, things the president deals with on a daily basis. It’s not like he’s going to debate club and arguing about a hypothetical court case, he’s debating about his job that he’s been engulfed in for the past four years. Furthermore, he’s got a plethora of experts around him at all times, so if he isn’t retaining at least some of the knowledge they are spitting at him, we’re all in for more trouble than we thought. Woodhouse says Democrats are “trying to be realistic about expectations” because the president is “lucky to be able to devote three consecutive hours to debate preparation.”This is clearly some sort of ill-advised tactic to give the Dems some wiggle room for if/when Obama loses this debate. As previously written, Obama has held more fundraisers during his term by this past March than the five preceding presidents …combined. He completed his 100th round of golf as president by June. He’s met with 25 B-list Hollywood celebrities to prep them on how to campaign for him. He’s mingled with A-listers Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Vogue Editor Anna Wintour. He’s set one night fundraising records with buddies George Clooney, DreamWorks Animations’ Jeffrey Katzenberg, Robert Downey Jr., Salma Hayek, Tobey Maguire, and Barbara Streisand. He’s spurned Israeli Prime Minister in favor of Late Night Bro David Letterman in the wake of Middle Eastern turmoil, which resulted in the death of the United States Ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens… ..but the DNC spokesman wants me to believe that Obama hasn’t had sufficient time to prepare for a debate? |

Notice our resident LIB "debater" has been hedging his bets recently as well.
![]() It's a common LIB tactic. They always plan for failure. Because they always fail. That's the real reason BO is delaying all negative news till after the election. It would be obvious even to the most useful idiots that they were duped in 2008. Nope, the Arab Spring isn't an Arab Winter. Nope, we aren't laying anybody off before the elections. Nope, borrowing more money to give out government grants to rehire/keep SEIU union employees working until after the election isn't buying votes with taxpayer $. The ACA details can't be revealed till January 2013. The flexibility I'll have after the election can't be discussed until I demonstrate the details in January 2013. This can go on and on.

I think they are trying to down play expectations for a number of reasons. One of which is so they can boast even more after the first debate if Obama doesn't get completely run over by Mitt.
Notice even Ross Perot is coming back out into the open lately too!
