Unless we are talking the 70's - 80's (gold/black. white/red). I think the blue ones were the best. Late 90's early 2000's.

Ok just kidding

There all good and I would buy a cleaner one over a newer beat one. They are all basically the same except the 00-02 have a better headlight and maybe an extra horse or two. Cons are they dont have much suspension and they don't do great offtrail. Pros are great reliability, fuel/oil economy, power, looks, sound, handling, and badass factor. Ive ridden alot of sleds new and old and for what I do which is fast groomed trail riding, there is no other sled I would rather be on than a SRX.

You got that right. There is no more fun than hitting the love flipper on an SRX-700. It just makes you smile with the raw pull that thing has.

i own a 2000 and the only con ive noticed is the wire harness rubs under the engine and the coolant hoses. it causes all sorts of problems that had me pulling my hair out. i relocated it and its been a great sled.
