Hi last weekend I took my 1979 Enticer 340 for a short ride only 25 miles but it burnt over half a tank of gas I was wondering if anyone has any clue what might cause this? I Filled it back up after and I've had it sitting in the Garage with no leakage since then so the tank isn't leaking.
thanks in advance |

The fuel cut off valve (a k a, inlet needle ) is not shutting off the fuel supply. Fuel is probably coming out of the vent lines. Suprised it's not flooding. Clean it up and you should be fine. Some carb cleaner or seafoam should do the trick.
