sticky secondary

my 99 srx has a bender helix,anyway, always kept her well lubed with tri-flow lubricant, decided to clean secondary ,jus a little pm so i thought. sprayed it down with some brake cleaner to remove excess lube,belt dust,etc. blew out with compressed air ,and relubed with the tri- flow! now wants to stick open??? any suggestions will help thanks fro.

Sounds like your spring is tired, put a new spring in

thanks for the feed back,didnt think i had many hours on the spring, but thats the way im headed.had along winter here in michigan got to get one last ride in and in march! in some white for once insted of the snirt! 2011 waz great!

Looking into the helix buttons or rollers also make sure they move freely
