Searched for about 20 minutes, couldnt find any info on how to do this with my sled. Pulled it in the garage, started taking a look around, and I dont see any adjustments on the primary for changing the max running rpms??? My old sled had like 3 adjustments that had like 6 settings or so each, but cant find anything on this clutch...

Any help? Its only reving to 8000 rpm, need to get 8500 out of it.

what do you have for weights and springs? maybe if you tried a lighter set of weights. seems the ones you have in now might be a little heavy....also what setting is you secondary on? a new belt as well if yours is worn will also gain a little?

Sounds like your old sled was a ski-doo. Now you have a cat and need to either get a heavier finish rate primary spring or buy some lighter weights. I would remove teh clutch and the outer cover (6 or nine bolts, nine if it's original) and get a good look at what condition everything is in.
