My sled runs really rich, I have the following aftermarket parts onit: Black Magic twin pipes, Boyseen reeds, BM clutch, chip, BM heads, Wiseco pistons. What can i do to fix this? When i take my sled out to ride it and shut it off for a few minutes then try to start it it won't start, unless i hold the throttle down.

It may be, but that is not necessarily your problem.

Chances are, if you have a bunch of aftermarket parts on your sled, you are going to have to grab one of those fuel injection control boxes. With all of those new parts you put on your sled, I would say its running lean rather than rich. If you checked the plugs and they were wet, then disregard this, but I would check the plugs, and if they are gray to light brown, ur running lean. the fuel injection control box is designed for modded sleds with EFI so the owner can richen the fuel mixture as he adds mods. The control box cannot lean out the mixture though, just richen it. Hope this helps.

he has the old efi system. you can add chips for the pipes.. did you ever figure out why it was running rich before you added all of the those parts last season??
