rk tech head on a 01 mxz 800!!

How is the engine performance after installing the head alone? any gains in performance? i need information on the head, i am planing on getting the head alone and i need some info before i buy it.....

Buy it! you won't be dissapointed!!!!!!
I put one on my "Z" and added about 5-6 horse along with some performance pistons, reeds, spacer plates. paid about $385.00 for it (HEAD) and had it in 4 days at my door.

very happy with them over @ R-K TEK!!!!

Nathan, fill me in on this head. I have the same year sled and engine and looking to up the power with some bolt on products.....

well worht the $ those guys know there stuff.
I called them with tech questions and they helped me out big time!

Now I checked out their site as well as Cudney Racing. I now know what it means to do a "head reaplacement". Cudney racing show a video on their site on a 800 REV. But I have noticed both Cudney AND RK have almost identical heads (underside). I am not sure about the domes. What is RK claiming for Hp gains with just the heads and domes replaced? Cudney is 6-8Hp.

I ask RK what was the HP gain, their response "That head was dyno'd at 5 different dyno's at 13HP gain..".....
