Hey guys, I got a used 2001 Polaris 550 SS last year. Since riding it for about 1000 miles, [b]I have found that no matter what type of turn I am making (icy, powder, packed snow) the sled just slides out of every turn. It doesn't matter how slow or fast I am going, or if I am hitting the breaks into the turn, the sled just slides. The sled has plastic skis with a double carbide. It also has adjustabe front suspension. Does anyone know what I have to do to get more traction when turning? Thanks!!!

sounds like you dont have too much ski pressure im not sure on your sled but if you can loosen the rear front shock in the skid do that or tighten up your limiter strap

First I would try the ski springs tighten the springs= more pressure, then the front track shock loossening it will put more weight on skis, and last the limiter strap tighten the straps more ski pressure, but stiffer rear ride
