Anybody have any experience with installing risers on the handlebars? The 02 600 needs some height and I'd like to do it without cable extensions etc. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated. In doing research, it looks like the angled risers are the ticket, just not sure of which height to buy or if there's a better option.
I went with a Rox 2" Elite Pivoting Risers on my '03 700 Classic. It raised the bars to a nice height and with the pivot I was ableto push them towards the dash a little for some more comfort. You can add a spacer made by Rox to raise the height to 3" if 2" is not enough. The spacer costs $20.
Here is a photo of my risers at the time of install
It doesn't look like it raises it much but when you give it 2" and push it forward it works. Also you can adjust the bars themselves by rotating them like I did. It's a relatively cheap adjustment.
