Default 136" on edge x 600

I'm thinking about putting a 1.5" track on my 01 edge x 600 but as long as i'm going to have the track off would it be worth it to spend another 200 bucks to extend it to a 136? Give me your thoughts

1.5" track will rub on the tunnel/heat exchangers, and you will need a bever tail kit, along with an extension to your rails, in my opinion, not worth the money. Go with a good 121"X1.25 track, with 96 studs. You will be amazed what a fresh, quatity track will do for a sled.

Oh wow I thought it would have more clearance than that. Yeah I got the stock 3/4 track with 144 studs in it.. going with something like a ripsaw 121x1.25 would be my best bet then?

What's a good place to get rail extensions and a track?

Stretch it! I stretched my 02 XC 800 Mod in 04 and have stretched every single sled I've owned since then(except my hunk of junk mistake 99 Mach 1, got rid of that asap). A 136" is the BEST all around sled. I don't care what anyone sais, they do NOT push in the corners unless the set-up is way off par. But any sled will push if not adjusted correctyl. Right now I've got my 03 Pro X 600 at 136" with a Camo 1.75" track under it. When deciding track lug, put into perspective what you mainly use your sled for. If you mostly trail ride and maybe 20% or 30 % is off trail, you would be better off with a track like a Ripsaw. Know what I mean?
And TracksUSA has the absolute best set-up out there. I do have MMP rail extensions on my MXZX 440, but if I remember right they are a little more money, but still a great product.

I would go 136!!! Don't buy the SLP long track kits either, go with the tracks USA. I would also skip out on the ripsaw and buy a predator or something other than the ripsaw. I don't think they are that great. Decent for trails only but trench like a bitch off trail. This is our pro x 700 with a tracks USA 136 kit, tunnel extension, and 1.75 inch track.
