Default Spark Plug?

Can anyone tell me the OEM Spark Plug for a 2001 XCSP 600 (edge x version). I want to make sure I am running the correct ones. Im currently running BR9ES. Those are what came in the sled when I purchased it. For anyone who has a owners manuel... thank you :grinning:

Most prefer champions, the NGK's you have will work, but some have issues.

As for a number, Its champion RN57YCC or RN57YC, CC is the newer one, not sure if they still sell C's

Try doing a search. Most likely the most talked about question other than which oil is best.

thee reason I ask is because I run the champions in the 800. the 600 has the NGK and it seems to idle wierd. I spent $500 in pre-season maint at a polaris dealer to make sure everything was right and it still seems to run funky. they say nothing is wrong.

Also I was under the understanding that the champions and the BPR9ES are very simular.. not the BR9ES which are in the sled. Now I am confused... I have no idea what to run...

Try the Champs, I run NGK's in most all my other stuff , but in my 00 and later twins, the champions har performed flawlessly. (Well, fouled 2 plugs back in 02 or was it 03..? =))

Polaris uses the Champion RN57YCC because it is a dual heat range plug and the NGK is not!........... Use the Champion!
