Default Citgo sea and snow

Well both of my sleds, the 03 and 04 prox with freshened up engines are full of sea + snow. I'll be taking the sleds out Sun to do some riding in the local park. I'll report back on how it is as far as smoke, smell, power valves, what the wash looks like, so on and so on as the season goes on.

Thats what I've heard. I've been running redline race for the last 7 years, $65 a gallon, time for a change. Curious to see how it compares to the redline in the short run and over time.

70 miles on the valves with sea and snow, I'm liking it.

your jetting ust be good also, I have seen a few motors that the valves are coverd in black gue...... if its running hot it will burn off the gue! How is the port job compared to a stock ports? Do you notice any extra snap?

Our fleet farm used to carry it and it worked awesome! now all they carry is Mystic oil which i have never heard of. picked up some klotz for the weekend since i dont want some shit oil ruining my long vacation.

As for sea and sno i have ran it in everything we own. even the small engines love the stuff!

As far as jetting, I spent a lot of time jetting this thing, playing with needles, pilots, ait and fuel screw. You would say I'm on the edge, but det protection is a lovely thing.

I've said it many times, the reasons valves get goopy or have a large build up is because a rich running sled. It never gets hot enough to burn he crap off. I looked at the wash last night, its the size of pencil tips.

Porting?, Its ported piped and clutched. The clutching is what gives a sled the snappy feel. not the porting. To tell you the truth, a stock ported and piped engine probably comes off idle faster then a ported engine. Ported and piped engines require running less static compression. Stock is 150ish, I'm at 120 ish. Thing is at higher rpm when the porting and pipe all come together, running compression is higher on mine then that of a stock engine.

I am looking to trying this oil, I'll experiment on my 3 smaller older sleds 2 x 440's and my 1987 Indy 600.. I have 5 gallons of other stuff to run thru 1st on my 3 XCR Based sleds.

@ 15.00 $ a gallon this is a significant addition to the wallet..

If Al is switching brands to a less costly oil it must be that good!!
