I"ve been wanting to upgrade my old Canon AE1 35mm for a while now. I"m new technology illiterate per say but figure what the heck I"ll try and learn how to use it. I bought the Canon Rebel XT with the stock lens and the 75-300 lens. I managed to put the battery pack on charge and install the CF card. If I run into problems the book is handy and so is the other half. Can"t wait to try it out.

I have 2 generations of the Digital Rebel (the original and XTi) and both are great. I am sure you will be satisfied, especially at the price i see the XT going for!

1st of all Nikons suck so lets stay with a cannon I have 2 Cannons I use and bought 1 OF them used off Craigs list for a song. I have A XTI and a D30 and your lenses will fit both of them paid 500.00 for the D30 with 3 lenses and xtra batterys and a case new on ebay there around 1200.00. The XTI my wife gave me as a present and ive shot over 5,000 pics in 8 months and wow nice pics that have won a couple of photo contest my daughter has entered. Find someone who has 1 and ask to try it see if you like it befor you buy. Call me any time you have questions..............JOE....610-366-9099

It works awesome and takes great pictures. I"ve been fooling around taking closeups, scenery etc and very happy with the results. I paid $579Can with the stock lens and an additional $219 Can for the 75-300 lens. It"s the average going price storewise but worth it.

Hi,
Myself Jimmy from Canada. Digital camera is now a basic requirement for the masses and non-professional photographers. The cameras below $250 are best for them and various companies fill this range with their low-range models. Jimmy Used Cars |
