Hi, On a 03 Rx1 is the warning light in the dash(red) supposed to come on when extremely low on fuel?I took it out today and noticed this ,The motor did not appear to be overheating, The motor was propperly warmed up before i left(Light went off.)Coolant level was where it should be.Anyways, thanks in advance!!This had me a little worried.

Not sure if it's the same or not, but my Apex will do the same thing with it's (yellow) warning light. It'll indicate low fuel, and overheat.

When the warning light comes on, look at the LCD screen and you should see an ICON indicating what is wrong (Over Temperature, Low Oil, Low Fuel, etc..).

Yes on the 2003 when you are low on fuel usually when the fuel guage hits the last bar a warning light does come on. Nothing to worry about as you found out.
