Can anyone tell me where the fuse box is? My heated shield outlet that's on the handlebar stopped working in the middle of a ride yesterday and the dealer says to check the fuse. This is my first Yamaha and 4-stroke.

I love this sled!!!

Right side of the sled in front. Take the side panel off and its right there. Did you have your cord hit the running board? That's the usual culprit, make sure you have the female end as the end of the cord.

Ahhh... thanks!! Yeah, it is possible that it hit the running board when I was taking my helmet off. Do these take a normal car fuse?

Yes a regular car fuse you can get at any auto store. Get needle nose pliers and start pulling them to see which one is broken. Yamaha gives spare fuses which will be in the fuse box.

Perfect! It's at Harry's Repair in Walden right now getting studded so when I get it back I will check the fuses! Thanks so much for your help

Actually they don't take a car fuse, it's a mini of a car fuse, but as stated there should be a spare in the holder.

There are several blade type fuses, but Yamaha uses the ones labeled "Mini".

EDIT: This is a picture of the fuse panel: http://ty4stroke.com/threads/vector-...-gauge.130697/

Just wondering what size studs and how many your putting on the LTX, I haven't done my yet and was thinking 96 1.325 up the middle for trail riding. I love the vector too

With the stock track the 1.325 are recommended.
2 per row you will need 108 studs
