I'm looking to buy a 2006 Polaris FST(Four StrokeTurbo) Switch Back , Under 3000 miles. New dullie carbides, chrome windshield , & stock windshield as in pic. Includes custom Polaris full cover & back storage bag with shovel. Studded & has all the options on it that were available to this sled. $5800.

Would like to know some common problems with this sled

I'm looking to switch to four stroke for more power and torque. Are four strokes more dependable than a two stroke?
Whats the pros and cons from switching from a two stroke to a four stroke?

I think the price is to high,5,800 for a 5 year old sled that was the first year for that sled. They did have some issues with the 06.The issues were wire and hose chaffing and a few other things (no air box problem),all this is covered at polarisfiles.com.I will say that everything is as dependable as you want to make it.It is a very complicated sled and it helps to know what you are dealing with.I bought the 08 FST Dragon last year and with 4,000 miles on it I can say it rocks.I did have some mods done this year and I can tell you that the more power this motor makes the better the fuel mileage gets.

For $400 more, there is a 2008 for sale for $6199.00 with only 1900+ miles on it and has studs locally here.
