Call Burt at Pro--5 (218-463-2149), this Nov he had 5 new 900 (866cc) Poo engines.
You might be able to get a good price on a head or a complete new engine or chassis component parts? Pro--5 are great folks to deal with!!! Good Luck; Rich

all I need is the head, the 05's & 06's should be the same.

I think you guys are going to like this if it works. I just wish I had a dyno in my garage and an exhaust gas analyzer to verify my results.

I'll toss this modded head on my sled, And then after my "seat of the pants" test's. I'll send it out to someone to test it, & market it.

Ok, This is not my invention. It is borrowed from another innovator. None of the big snowmobile perf companies are dong this, YET!! I bet they will be after they see what this mod does.

The benefits shown by this simple modification have actually shown a 42% improvement in fuel economy on a Briggs & stratton 4-stroke engine. On boosted or higher compression 2-strokes it has shown more compression or boost can be run on lower grade fuel with no detonation. Cooler running engines. and all sorts of other benefits that were not thought of until after the mod was performed and realized.

I am betting that with this Modification, and proper clutching we should all be able to hit that 120 MPH limiter in the ECM on the liberty 900's. and on carbed sleds we will see even more because we can lean-out the sled and run more advance. (soemthing we currently cannot do on our sleds)

I wish I had another twin to do this too, But it looks like my Switchback is going to be the test monkey here.

I have already done this mod to my 4-stroke Snowblower (Don't laugh!) and noticed several benefits like it starting easier, less fuel used, less bogging down under load.

it is such a simple mod, anyone of you guys can do it. I just want to make sure it shows as good of a performance increase on these sleds before letting the entire cat out of the bag.

I wish I could say more right now.
