some drags have a lane next to the main one that is snow. it all depends on the race and if there is even snow. sometimes lakes are pretty bare.

On "packed" snow studs help. Even if its 96, they will help on take off.

I just got the flyers for the radar run at Pine Lake , 40 miles NW of Bemidji. Dec 14 and 15, The Pine Lake 100 cross country race will be held at the same time. 1000 ft shaved track with a long shut down, $5 per run or $20 for 5, 10am to 3pm each day

The Ely Igloo`s are having their 4th Annual Radar run at the Longbranch in Winton on Feb. 8,2014. Radar run and race your buddy drags.

Seems pretty early in the year, instead of shaved ice they should say glare ice.

Is this more of a smaller radar run? Maybe even on packed snow?

Id like to bring the MC somewhere were they race in 660ft..

We have a 1000 ft plowed lake run. The drags are 500 feet on packed snow.We could run out 660 also. It`s not a major sanctioned event but it`s usually a good turnout & fun. Probably pay out 200.00 for top speed and trophys per class.
