I heard that CAP/STEP has been passed in WI. anyone else heard this? For those that don't know what it is or if I'm wrong with the terminology. It's where you have to belong to a club to pay only $45 for registration and if you don't you pay like $80.

Havnt heard that one?? As of last night I was told it was highly doubtful it would pass??
We had our alliance meeting.

$15 per year for club members and 30 for non members per year. It will actually be a trail pass.

Whatever ends up getting passed, I just hope we continue with just one pair of stickers that need to get put on the sled. If the AWSC is so concerend about who's a member and who's not, just create two different colored sets of registration stickers...black for club members and pink for non-members

I believe there is a Dane County Council meeting tonight at the Red Mouse and this is one of the things being discussed.

If it were to pass, you will have registration decals as well as a trail permit decal. But, sounds like at this time, no worries, Cap/Step didn't pass from what I read.
