Default Snow conditions & trails-- Niles/ Paw Paw/ Allegan Area

Hey guys, myself and 4 buddies are wanting to find some snow to break in our sleds. I heard that area got some decent snow and we are wanting to come up if thats true.

We would either head up saturday night or early sunday morning.

Where are the staging area's?

If the snow is there and we come up sat. night is there a good place to stay? Doesn't need to be anything special, just a clean place to stay.

We got about 8-10 inches of really light fluffy lake effect. As far as I know the groomers have not been out yet. The ground is still UNfrozen so the snow is melting underneath. You can easily take your foot and with one swipe see the grass. I don't think things will be ready yet, but they are calling for cold weather and maybe a possible storm this weekend.

I was in niles today and put 120mi on. we rode from m51 staging area in niles and rode to keeler (good ride and some good snow)from keller to lawton about half way there the trails started to get bad and the snow was thin and real dirty in the woods. The snow is all powder and there is a base starting but I can't see it holding up this weekend without some more snow.
