Need to get my trailer weighed so that i can get a print out to make it possible to get a plate for my trailer.

I'm located in Garden city so having it close is a good thing.

You would have to find a certified scale house of some sort. I'd like to help ya out but
I'm not too sure where you would find one down there...

Up here they are all over the place. It's called a farm elevator. :beerchug:

Trailer plates are permanent in Mich. and non-transferable.
Fees are based on weight. Up to 2499 lbs is $75, 2500 to 9999lbs is $200 and 10,000 and up is $300

There is a certified CAT scale at the gas station at the corner of Ecorse Rd and I-275. There was another place that I cannot recall the name of located back off of Michgan AVE near Hunter. I bet if you looked in the yellow pages under scales or trucking scales you might find something nearer to your house. Good luck.

Go to any farm scale or to any truck stop and use their scale, I use the CAT scales all the time.

You could also try a landscaping company. One that hauls rock, mulch, dirt, etc. They weigh the dump trucks with em.

A metal scrapyard will also have a scale. I used to use haggerty metals on Haggerty between schoolcraft and plymouth rds. Kevin
