Kiwanis 19th Annual Syracuse Lake Winter Carnival Jan.23rd.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.

Kiwanis Name
The name “Kiwanis” means “we trade” or “we share our talents.” It was coined from an American Indian expression, Nunc Kee-wanis.

Kiwanians are volunteers changing the world through service to children and communities. Kiwanis members help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged, and care for the sick. They develop youth as leaders, build playgrounds, raise funds for pediatric research, and much more. No problem is too big or too small. Why? Because working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. When you give a child a chance to learn, experience, dream, and succeed, great things happen!

As Kiwanis clubs and members, we see it everyday!

Now for the goodies!!!!!!!

■Classed snowmobile drags: 440 vintage through 1000cc and open

Just my thoughts but why not reschedule the race for when you have ice, by now everyone has put the ice running gear in and not many people are going to run that stuff in a field of dirt. You guys always have a good turn out on the ice, lets keep it going , ice racers will appreciate it.

Not enough ice for next weekend. I dont put on this race and I to agree that it should be rescheduled so we can run on the ice. As of now, the Kiwanis want to try and run in the field for next weekend, but I will see later next week what the plan will be.

If we run at the coop, with temps in the 35-40 range with only getting 6+ inches of snow thats now down to 2" or less. What do you expect the track conditions to be like Fish? Is it going to turn into a mud bog?

Ladies and Germs, 6-8 inches of ice on Lake Syracuse. The Kiwanis said we will be racing at the lake on the ice. It was hard and smooth today. The park is located on the North end of the lake

Sweet, guessing people just won't be able to take their trailers out on the ice?

Back on again... Cool. You should put this over on the Michigan board also. Good chance one could get a lot of southern MI guys down there.

Who's running what classes? I can't remember what I did last year... I think I ran IMP700??

40 for a high on saturday, gonna be sloppy.
