I don't know about this link we did get a memo at work about it and if it works like they say it should it could be a good thing for out of state sledders who want to ride in NY. I would love to know if it works so if any one uses this let me know what you think.

I was up in Indian Lake and received a speeding ticket from the DEC for doing 76 in a 25. The ticket states "Violation 190.8P, then it says Fail to obey DEC Sign Speed in zone." Then is also says 76mph in a 25mph zone. However, the DEC officer told me this would not affect my insurance nor would it cause any points to go on my license. Can you tell me if this is true and how I should handle this ticket?

Thank you in advance.

Default New Sled - Mid year

I registered my sled at the beginning of the year and handed in my club voucher to get the $45 registration.

Now I am buying a new sled and will need to register it. Can I reprint the same voucher (I have a pdf of it), and use it again to register the new sled?

Thanks!

I am looking at a snowmobile and the VIN tag on the tunnel is missing. Are all the VIN numbers engraved in the tunnel? Is this a big problem without the VIN tag?

It all depends on the year and model.

I have a question regarding an ATV registration. I am trying to purchase a used quad and the current owner said that he the registration is non transferable because he had it transferred from his parents name to his name and is waiting for the new registration. He said he should have it in a month or two. My question is, if i buy it, and get a bill of sale is there any transfer of ownership paperwork i can get off the DMV website in order for me to register it or should i stay clear of it?

Default Registering a trailer as home made

I've come across several nice trailers with no paperwork because the paperwork has been lost. The sellers are saying to "just register it as home made". Anyone ever been through this? I was looking at the DMV website, and it says you need the original receipts for the materials used to build the trailer. If I bought one of these trailers, can I get it registered?
