While in Old Forge this past week, my handwarmers stopped working. I had seen Schueler's sign from the trail. So I stopped in to have them repaired. They did repair them fairly quickly.

I am passing them on to you if you need any repairs done. Nice people. Good experience dealing with them and honest also. They will also store sleds, have enough room for 140 sleds.

Bob and Debbie Schueler are the owners. They are open 7 days a week 9am to 9pm.

Scheulers comes through again!

It seems like I am always in need of repairs with my sleds....however, it happens....this past thursday Indytrailmike and I rode around 160 miles, then at night, we stop by his cabin to pick up oil...when I go to start the GSX it doesnt start..longer story short.....Friday 9 am take it to Scheulers and the battery had failed, replaced with new battery...they also notice a track clip was bent and tearing a big bevel in my slider, new pair of slides..what more can i say.....they had me on the trail in an hour.

Mike and I did 60 to 70 miles after that.

Great 2 days riding in OF!!

Check Scheulers out!!

Does that guy that owns Scheulers used to be a mechanic from one of the local competitors in Old Forge? I heard a mechanic from the place North Street went out and started his own biz.

Either way, better than going and reading that crumby sign they have hanging in Big Moose Yam/Arctic Cat..."Lack of Planning on YOUR part does not consitute an emergency on MY part". Really makes customer feel welcome.

YES - the new building on the left side just past the waterpark. If driving in be very careful pulling in and more importantly out of their parking lot and whatever you do don't ride the sleds in from Rt. 28 because the local cops have been ticketing in full force for that.

Bob, Debbie and their son Ryan (who drives home 5 hours from Boston EVERY weekend to help) run a great business and have a real nice facility there. Access trail up the hill on the back right through the water park parking lot and go straight - just outside the campground entrance on a private feeder trail with a lit up sign and everything. They even came to pick-up a back-up sled of mine that wouldn't start due to bad fuel, clogged lines and carbs that were in shambles (had to cook one of them) and had it running great within 1.5 days on the very busy holiday weekend - all for under $140.00

Bob actually RENTED the shop from Mike at North Street Snowmobile Parts & Accessories and it was formerly called North Street Repair (I think?)

t was his own business and a totally separate entity but it was hard to tell really.......
