Rode from Canaan through Colebrook up to Pittsburg then into ME, trails were better than expected, a lot of traffic at the state borders but once on the trails they were pretty empty out of town.......

I was with qwick68. I got a few pics, but it was too cold to keep breaking out my camera!

Rode all weekend in VT,NH, and Me did a total of 405 miles over the course of the 3 days. Also made it in to bosebuck for lunch, was some cold riding but being dressed for it made it some of the best riding in years. As long as you stayed in the higher elevations there was more then enough snow, low areas were rough but you had to take the bad with the good.

Day 1 - Derby, VT to Rangley ME
Day 2 - Rangely to the Forks and back to Rangely Day 3 - Rangely to Derby 550 miles.....most were very good, but damm cold, especially in the morning. Tons of traffic, but not a snocross track like last year. I am a fan of receiprical weekend and hope the states continue to do this for a long time. The extra traffic is worth the adventure.

We rode from IP all the way across NH and over to Maine (Bosebuck) on Saturday for food/gas. The trails were really nice for the most part, but the fricken NH F&G gave 2 of us speeding tickets!! I'm still not sure how I got nabbed when I was sled #5 in a line of 8 riders. They somehow singled me out even though I was just keeping pace with everyone else in my group. Who knew NH has speed limits?? I've searched the NHSA and NHF&G websites, and still can't find anything about speed limits. The bozo warden said the speed limits are posted on all of the junction signs, but we checked every sign at every junction for the rest of the day and never saw one. You'd think if they're gonna ticket, they should at least make the law a bit more visible, especially on the reciprocal weekend when out-of-staters are riding in their state. Or at least maybe just a warning since they're trying to promote their trail system to us.

JK. Sounds like a good ride other than the added assessment.

The 4th weekend of January is a lock for the reciprocal agreement.
